The Winery Calafè born in Prata di Principato Ultra, in the Avellino province, between steep hills and narrow valleys of volcanic origin, with a land composed mainly of clay, tuff and sulfur.
The company, active since 2006, has come to reach the 30,000 bottles of production, maintaining a high standard of quality, through the passion that Benito Petrillo has put in his project since 1999.
Notable features of the winery and the name Calafè, an acronym, derived of the names of the three grandchildren of "patron" Benito: Camilla, Laura and Federica, is definitely the choice to submit a white wine which the Tufo greek to an aging process longer than is usual, getting amazing results, which converge in the finished product "Air Vecchia", a Greek Di Tufo "reserves", the best vintages expression. |
